[edit] Creating Weapons
Weapons start on pg. 168 of the World of Darkness Corebook, and Explosives can be found on pg. 178-79. Creating Weapons can be tricky because of the nature of the World of Darkness role-playing game. The game is not meant to be ultra-realistic and have different statistics for the different models of the same gun. When creating Weapons or Explosives, don't re-invent the wheel. Look at the samples provided in the Corebook and figure out how you are going to improve/differentiate from those. This will lead to better quality Weapons on the Forge.
[edit] The Format for Creating Ranged Weapons
Ranged Weapons added to the Forge should be created as close to this format as the author deems possible so as to ensure a homogeneous quality of work.
1. Create a link to your Ranged Weapon's page by typing [[Weapons:NameOfRangedWeapon|NameOfRangedWeapon]] under a heading. An example is [[Weapons:PhasePRifle|Phase Plasma Rifle, 40 Watt Range]].
2. Copy the following format onto the Ranged Weapon's page and fill it in.

Description: Usually used for attacking trees rather than people, the chainsaw can nevertheless be used as an impromptu weapon by the sadistic or desperate. The chainsaw's poor balance and considerable weight make it nearly impossible to wield with any sort of accuracy or finesse, but when it does connect, it tends to leave horrible wounds and can easily cripple a man in one hit.
Because it is not designed for combat, the chainsaw imposes a -1 penalty on all attack rolls made with it; this penalty has already been included in the weapon's damage bonus.
